What Would You Ask Google?

Why do people depend on their cell phones more than ever before? I believe that in today's world people are more dependent on their cell phones than ever before. People use their phones in every little aspect of their daily lives. I can say I honestly understand why people use their cell phones so much. Cell phones do everything now. Back in about 2001 not every single cell phone had access to the Internet, or could take notes, or purchase items. Times have changed and cell phones have definitely evolved. My only problem is, why do people need their phones 24/7? There are some people who can't go five minutes without checking their phone. Cell phones are almost like a drug that everybody has to have. They are now more of a necessity rather than a want. Sometimes the over usage of cell phones can interfere with peoples personal lives. It can sometimes interfere with doing homework, paying attention to your children, being able to pay attention while driving, etc. I think cell phones are definitely something people need now a days but how much they are used can be a little bit overboard.

What makes America beautiful?

NEW YORK- A place of fame fortune and freedom. Every time I hear or see New York I get goosebumps. When you see New York you can see it's beauty without even trying to. Whether the beauty comes from a sunny day in Central Park are the luminosity of the New York city lights fading into the night. There is so much richness and life in the heart of New York. Also traditional things make America beautiful, New York is definitely a place of tradition. Whether that be from the way the people carry themselves, or the food they make. I love it when cities have a strong tradition. When cities like New York, have strong traditions it goes to show me that they stick to their roots. I have personally never been to New York but I know people who have visited there and they tell it's very beautiful and once you are there you never want to leave. I can't wait until I get the chance to visit the place of my dreams. It will be a dream come true.

A Dream Within A Dream

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow--
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand--
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep--while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

Taking A Stand

I remember I had to take a stand on how rap is music. My best friends dad felt that rap isn't music and  I feel other wise. He feels like rap is just a bunch of words thrown together. I told him rap is just like singing without the melody. He argued otherwise but I pushed that fact forward that rap is music. You can almost look at rap as a sport. For example basketball and soccer both use a ball but the ball is used differently. That's how rap music is, it uses words just like singing but it is produced in a different way.

What's the best advice that you have ever received or given?

I remember when I just beginning my freshman year at Central and my dad had to talk to me. So he pulled me to the side and gave the best advice that I will never forget. He told me that thing were about to change and my world isn't going to the same as before. What he said was no matter whenever or wherever always remain true to yourself because when nobody is there and I can't be you can always have yourself. Since then every day of my high school life I've brought this advice with me and it has helped me out through a lot of things.

B and Y of the A to Zen

B: Believe in yourself. Believing in yourself is one of the best attributes to have in life. When there's no one else there for you and you’re stuck, just believe in yourself. Every day when I walk out my house and head to school I always believe in myself that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. Also as a composer of my own music I believe in what I say in my lyrics. To me believing in yourself opens up so many doors in life. If you’re willing to try new things and you believe that you can do it then belief is all you need.

Y: You are unique nothing can replace you. In my eyes everyone is unique in their own way. Whether that is looks, talent, personality, etc. No two people are alike, because if they were then everyone would be the same. So being yourself has its own uniqueness and nothing can replace you.

If you could travel through time and talk wiht a prominent figure in art, politics, religion, or science, whom would you choose?

Martin Luther King a man of inspiration, charisma, and great effort. A man who'd I would love to get a chance to talk to. I acknowledge Martin Luther's efforts as he stood for the blacks during a period of a tremendous amount of discrimination. I've always wondered what was going through MLK's head throughout his every day life as he defended the blacks. How did he gain such great amounts of confidence to stand up against his adversaries? It's a question that has always left me puzzled. The last question that I would like to ask MLK is, if he were living in today's world would he see it as evolution or devolution and why? Talking to MLK would me make me feel great alone. Of all of the deceased inspirational icons I would choose MLK as my choice of who I would like to hold a very intimate conversation with.
